Yes. Also all movies trailers these days are spoiler fests.
To add games to the list I think xenoblade 1 (or one of the remakes) had a trailer that spoiled a ton of twists like a twist villain, a twist party member, setting, etc
This. And often you get a sequence of epic scenes. You think wow, this will be awesome. And then its … long stretches of bordom between these exact scenes :|
When 99% of the movie is in the trailer and the rest is just watching paint dry inbetween those scenes.
I am still mad to this day about thr Hulk reveal in the Thor Ragnarok trailer.
If I still cared as much about the MCU as I used to, I’d be upset about the Red Hulk reveal too.

Knives Out trailers were a complete misdirection!
The original cover with the car was a lot better in that regard. The German cover on the other hand was so much worse.
