After switching to to Search bottom tab, I press on the search text field, but the keyboard won’t appear/cursor won’t start.
This happens sometimes. The search bar will be shifted 50% to the right (like in the screenshot) and not respond to touch. Memmy 0.5.1. iPhone iOS 15
p.s. I am on an older version of iOS, 15.7.7 because I am on an iPad Air 2.
imo - the ipad version of Memmy (and Voyager) are both wonky. Memmy doesn’t seem to want to resize images making them cropped all the time in windows. Voyager handles images better but has bugs when replying to threads.
I generally just use Safari now for Lemmy on iPad (and Memmy for my iPhone)
We don’t officially support iPad - we are doing 0 testing for iPad. Use at your own risk.
It’s probably not a good idea then for you to be packaging it for iPad then. Apple reviewers wouldn’t like to hear that and still keep your app approval.
Yea good call its being disabled now. Gk enabled it back when there were no iPad apps, so I think the idea was for there to just be something for iPad users to use. But since there are so many issues with it its not worth having anymore.
I’ve experienced this exact same issue on my iPhone XS as well
