    This kind! Standard 2.2kw Chinese spindle, the rest of the frame was built from parts that I got through a “Please get this out of my garage, its so heavy and in my way all the time” deal. Weird how it thence became super heavy and in my way all the time…

        3 axis with a mountable 4th+5th table, yep! I mainly work with aluminum and engineering plastics, so I’m excited to break fifteen million bits figuring out how to cut steel on this thing…

          It’s all about the cutting bit, feeds and speeds. My only CNC experience is with wood materials and plastic. And even then, it’s mostly on the creating CAM programs from CAD files.

          The people running the machines teach me how to better write the programs I send to them.
