It’s a cool problem to have. Means SpaceX is upending the apple cart with Starship.
The shuttle used to boost the ISS. We can probably have Starship boost Gateway.
But, if I’m honest, Gateway is a solution in search of a problem and could be entirely canned and Artemis would probably still succeed.
Gateway is part of the political power of Artemis and is where some big international partner contributions are going. But yeah, from a technical standpoint, a waste of time and money.
