Where did you find that beast?
The other planet in the starting system has one
There was a planet in the rendezvous system that was named something like “12PAK PREDATOR HERE MANTIS-LOOKIN” and I made a base called “LOOK IN THIS HOLE FOR THE PREDATOR” on that planet.
Awesome effort! I think these cave creatures show up randomly for every player. Correct me, if I’m wrong, but basically wait at any cave for a while (sometimes a looong while) and the creatures will spawn in.
Yeah, probably, but it’s far easier to go looking for it yourself, rather than just waiting in a cave. Once I figured out that it was underground (by scanning all the other creatures), it took me about a minute to find, so I made the base to make it easier for everyone else. Felt pretty good about it, when I saw someone going in ~30 seconds after I uploaded lol
Haven’t found one yet. I’m gonna look for player bases along the expedition route with a name indicating the presence of one, that usually does the trick.
I saw there was a based named this in the starting system, but it would not download so I never ended up being able to go to it.
