Hey mate, just to let you know, this seems to be a Scottish fold cat. They have a genetic defect that causes cartilage weakness (that is the reason for the curled ears) and are prone to polycystic kidney dosease. Sooner or later it might need pain relief because of that (the cartilage of their joints gets damaged over time), so it should be regularly checked by a veterinarian.

That being said, I wish both of you all the best :)

Thank you! I’ve always thought Folds were adorable, so that made it much harder to turn her away.

I had never heard of their arthritis issues until after we got her and I started researching.

        But they’re CA-yoooooot-ah!

I get a little angry every time I see a pug or a bull dog now

You just reminded me of how much I hate people who breed animals for money. Especially people who do torture breeding.

If I will ever get another pet it will be by adoption!

Thanks for being the good kind of human, OP.

I love to see it, and I’m glad she’s being cared for. In my area, there are plenty of outdoor cats and every once and a while, I see them “napping” on the road… If you know what I mean.

It’s nice that this one was brought in from the cold and given love and food. Keep being awesome.
