If you needed (more) undeniable evidence that removing Biden at this point was a terrible idea that’s only going to benefit the GQP, here you go.

It’s amazing that these asshats take the time for Biden to drop out of the race but are crickets on Trump.

Almost as if they want you focusing on something other than what you should be. And if a bought man like Manchin doesn’t wake you up to that, then I’m not sure what will.

Manchin, with GQP money in his pocket, does whatever Moscow Mitch demands, since he’s got his hand so far up Manchin’s ass he’s practically a puppet.

I would argue Manchin is rich enough that he doesn’t need compromat to comply. He wants to be an oligarch in New Gilead, so he is kissing the ring.

Not many have been able to levy as much resistance to productive policies within the Biden administration as this man. It’s nice to know what the GOP thinks

Heck, I’d be happy with 6 more months. Just across the finish line, he could do “Harrison” right after the inauguration.

I mean Biden no ill will. May he live long and prosper. 🖖

Biden for weeks: I won’t drop out.

Biden, 4 hours after Manchin tells him to: Yessir.

For the record, campaigns that go “oh, I’m considering dropping out” universally die. So they have to maintain the appearance of being strong until they officially decide to call it.

Behind the scenes, it wasn’t was rapid or sudden decision, and manchin’s is a impotent prick, so i doubt very much he was actually influential…

The fact that this was the straw that broke the camel’s back for Biden’s withdrawal is just the perfect conclusion to his whole miserable administration

Here’s to hoping Harris will be less crap

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Manchin called for an open process to replace Biden on the Democratic presidential ticket and suggested Pennsylvania Gov.

Manchin, who had decided against launching a presidential bid against Biden, blamed “both sides” for escalating rhetoric that led to the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Sadly, their vocal support for President Biden in the face of his irreparable debate performance are just evidence of how much control the far left has over the current administration.”

Welch, a fixture in Vermont politics, argued that Biden should exit the race “for the good of the country” in an opinion piece published in The Washington Post this month.

“While the majority of the Democratic caucus and the diverse base of the party continues to stand with the President and his historic record of delivering for their communities, we’re clear-eyed that the urgency and stakes of beating Donald Trump means others feel differently,” Ehrenberg said in a statement.

Unlike Republicans, we’re a party that accepts — and even celebrates — differing opinions, but in the end, we will absolutely come together to beat Donald Trump this November.”

The original article contains 861 words, the summary contains 192 words. Saved 78%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

ITT: people who made excuses for Manchin for years pretending that they always hated him.
