A former submortgage broker who admitted to faking income documents for several clients has been fined $50,000, according to the BC Financial Services Authority.
Have to wonder if those applications were approved based on false information, does that now invalidate the mortgages? I also wish it mentioned if the clients were aware of the documents being faked or if it was done without their knowledge.
