    How about their political influence abroad? Supporting fascists, far right and other conservatives is not helpful for the environment.

        No, we’re not playing any game.

        Russia is of course the military friend, but I wouldn’t expect them to become a progressive environmental force anyway.

        Clearest connections are with Hungary and euro parties such as AfD, True Finns, etc. One could argue that the net effect is not huge to prop up climate change deniers to obstruct governments around the globe, but it does raise eyebrows.

        The US did not blow up the Nordstream pipeline, the Ukrainians did. We get your point though, china good everyone else bad via literal whataboutism.
