    The way I read this: Kid climbed onto a bridge to kill himself, cops showed up to talk him down but were unable to convince him and he jumped. Why did you post this exactly? What’s the point here?

      Presumably because there is not enough critical mass to support a local waterloo community yet.

      The point is obvious when you consider the domain. It’s a propaganda site, don’t get me wrong the police need some serious reform but this isn’t it.

      You have read that in. There is not enough public information available to meaningfully come to that conclusion.

        It’s Occam’s Razor. It would be a much bigger assumption to think the police caused him to die. Especially when their job is to not let someone jump off of that bridge.

        In any case, it’s just as much reading in to form any other conclusion based on the limited information available here.

          You are not in a position where you need to assume anything at all. It would be more correct to describe it as speculating, and indeed, your speculation is slanting the information we have available, perhaps to better suit your preconceived notions of how the world works.
