It’s a great time (as always) to boycott Meta/Zuckerburg/billionaires.

The company had previously been blocking news content for some Canadians in preparation for C-18 becoming law. That is now being extended Canada-wide.

To me this gives the game away that this is a negotiating tactic. They’ve had the ability to pull the plug from the start so why wait?

I can still see the news on the news sites just like I could do before facebook existed.
