If I had to guess it’d be the danger of that thing snapping and hitting your cat in the face
Its a pretty strong string and he has gentle bites
Not op but I guess they might mean in case the string breaks or if the cat’s tooth gets stuck on it.
I also get anxious when my cats bites weird stuff 😅 but they usually know when to stop.
