Honestly, this whole situation has made me realise how much Reddit has contributed to my brain rot and poor mental health for the past 7 years. I’m not blaming it all on Reddit, because of course there’s got to be a deeper root to it. But god damn does this mental decline align perfectly with my usage of that damn app. I feel like an addict 😅
And I’m perfectly aware Lemmy and other social media apps would similarly contribute. But like I say, I’m an addict and need to get more willpower lmao
