Since we are here I though it would be best to list the ones currently existing for ease of any new users:

Generally speaking I would suggest if creating new ones to avoid very big instances, since those are currently a bit overloaded and struggling to get the content across to other instances. Prime instance of this is lemmy.ml where it can take multiple hours if ever for content to catch up.
You can use https://lemmyverse.net/communities to scout for new ones communities of your interest
For some reason Kbin won’t let me find and subscribe to most of the Lemmy communities there.
Atm this one appears in the “Random” placeholder, so it seems like a federation issue unfortunately 😔From any lemmy instance? Or from the ones at fromshado.ws? I have had some issues with Firefox hosted kbin but it seems to have improved over time.
Just the fromshado.ws and lemmy.ml instance ones.

Ohh my bad, yeah I guess I have to hope it’ll fix on kbin eventually.
Luckily I can still find and interact with the individual threads like this one until then.
