Impeachment is for high crimes and treason. Otherwise this is just performative to condition the American people that our one recourse for removing a corrupt President can be used politically.

But Republicans know if they do it, their base will fall in line and only focus on the fact that “ZOMG BIDEN IS IMPEACHED”

    How pathetic we’ve become.

It is impeaching Biden for the same thing Trump was impeached for as the article states.

lol nope. This is the comparison republicans want you to make. It cheapens the seriousness of impeachment and allows them to continually use it as a political tool.

The two things are only the same on the most cursory surface level view. Much how under the legal system motive and intent matter when determining what sort of crime is committed, so it is here.

Ask yourself what each leader was trying to accomplish with their actions.

Impeachment is a political process. As such it’s only used as a political tool. I think it’s become too common to use it for stupid reasons. Neither should have been impeached.

While I support Israel. I understand Biden drawing a line and I support that. Israel should have moved quicker to end Hamas to avoid the Humanitarian issues.

Do you also support Presidents using the state’s political power to further their own private personal objectives?
