The vilains are Russian and Soviets, and they use cyrilic alphabet wrong, as if it was a dead language and no one would see.
Ridiculous, i dont even know if i want to play this shit anymore…

Dont. Usually i dont do so if game does that and i dont find it funny. Here we call it “Cranberry” (Russia bad, Soviets bad etc.) And there is fine line between stareotypical portrayal and streight up propaganda. Examples can be the new rebooted COD:MW which is not even funny and straight up propaganda and say Red Alert series. IMO The tomb rider reboot game is cringe but not really as offensive as COD:MW. Its expected from western gamedev and there is nothing different from most games (from faux cyrillics to cringy sobiets bad) However i prefer to ignore games with messages like that and not waste my time on them.
that cod mw reboot was actually a new low for call of duty propaganda. bunch of fucking drivel, of course false advertised beforehand about how “morally grey” it would be, lmao. other than that, good gunplay if they actually let you shoot and not do some scripted bullshit like these child sections. one of the most overrated cod campaigns ever.
one can say a lot (nothing good) about portrayal of soviets in black ops cold war, but the fact that they actually let you give a finger to the muricans was rather shocking, and gave me a huge grin on my face. the ending almost redeemed the game, almost. because sadly it was a mechanical downgrade from mw2019 in almost every way.
