    I used to feel sorry for Abby Shapiro, thinking she was just an unfortunate victim of internet creepiness because she had a nice body and a famous brother. She is a victim, but it was kind of a relief to find out she’s also awful.

      internalized patriachy. Victims of oppression sometimes cope by accepting the system and defending it.

        It’s like in Shrek 2 when Shrek is the victim of an attempted assassination for being an ogre (which is an allegory for being queer), and instead of deciding to fight the system, he decides to assimilate by taking happily ever after potion.

        Does this also count when you promote a fake story about her using a fake tweet referring to her body? You get that you’re part of the problem, right?
