I’m not sure what happened but my peach tree isn’t getting leaves. The branches on the end are brittle but I did a little cut on the tree bark on the trunk and it was green under so I don’t think she’s dead. I’m not sure what may have caused this. I thought at first it was because she didn’t get enough chill hours but we got over 1000 hours here in Seattle area.
Looks like there are plenty of buds on there? And if you’re seeing green that’s good. Is it its first year in the ground? I would wait and see since there’s not much you can do at this point. I have several trees that are fully leafed out by this point and some that are just waking up, so could just need some more time / warmer weather. It’s still in the 40s at night here.
It’s the 4th year in the ground. Good to know it’s not dead.
