Municipal Affairs Minister Ric McIver said he has ‘serious concerns’ regarding the city’s actions on directives handed down by the province.

Municipal Affairs Minister Ric McIver said further action is possible if issues with city’s response to directives aren’t addressed.

If any of the directives aren’t followed to the satisfaction of the minister, it could result in action as severe as the removal of the mayor, councillors or city officials, according to the province.
