Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused unnamed Polish leaders of “dreaming about Belarusian lands” and said any attack on Moscow’s ally would be treated as an attack on Russia. Follow DW for the latest.
Ahh yes, because
Russian soldiers, oh sorry, a totally unaffiliated mercenary group on the borders of a non-aggressive neighbor under the guise of “training exercises” has not escalated into anything else in recent memory. Russia can totally be trusted and taken at their word.I see this an attempt to direct Poland to focus their resources on Belarus, to reduce it from being supplied to Ukraine.
I disagree. Poland has enough army and equipment to defend themselves. I’ll argue that it’s for the internal use. Poland has no interest in attacking Belarus right now. It’s mostly to show that “the west is about to attack us, we are defending against the enemies”, etc.
@xuxebiko Putin can’t defend his own country from his own mercenaries- he wants to engage Poland over Belarus? What a gasbag
