He’s not cashing out with the best possible circumstances is how he messed up. That’s like saying Elon bought Twitter at a highly inflated price and then crashing and burning all the advertising is doing a great job. Twitter is sinking into the abyss very slowly. It’ll still be around in a year or so but right now Twitter is only worth 1/4 of what Elon paid. Spez already lost like 20% of Reddit’s value after all of his sweet changes. These guys are idiots.

The difference is that they have the resources to be comfortable and healthy during their misery. 2/3 of us live paycheck-to-paycheck and can barely, or just flat out can’t, afford basic things like healthcare or maintenance on the vehicles we’re usually required to own to survive.

Personally I think human beings would be a lot happier if money did not exist. I don’t appreciate money past the extent it provides for my needs. As long as I can pay my bills I’m good. I simply don’t understand the obsession people have with money, but then it’s also a means to power. So basically it comes down to an obsession with power and control. What human trait defines an asshole better than that.
