Now thats a game i didnt expect to have steam deck support but it does!!

I suck at this game just as much as i used too. But its still so fun.

The interface seems a little difficult to navigate though, like checking status effects while on the move. Maybe just havent learned the shortcuts?

Any tips for smoother steam deck experience?

I don’t have any tips for ya, but I’ve definitely been eyeing this game for my Deck for a while now. In your opinion is it worth it if I’m planning to use primarily Steam Deck controls or is it better with mouse and keyboard?

I played entirely in handheld mode, and it works fantastic. It does take some getting used to the “language” of the control scheme, but once you do it feels super smooth, and it’s impressive how much they were able to fit into a controller layout. Plus Steam Decks modifiable controls go that last mile to make things great (for example, I assigned two back button to zoom in and zoom out, as the default controls for that are kinda slow to use)

I still can’t really survive the first week. Even a couple of days is too much for me usually.

Choose a lower difficulty when starting the game. It turns it from a hopeless immediate struggle for survival into a fun exploration, farming and building game with the occasional pocket of zombies to deal with.
