I’m usually not a big follower of women’s football but actually being able to watch international football again in Adelaide is very exciting. When I was a kid I watched the Socceroos play there, as well as various international teams as part of the Olympics. I’m feeling very hyped all of a sudden and can’t wait to go to a group stage match at Hindmarsh later this month. It just hits different when it’s the local football stadium I’ve been going to my whole life, rather than Adelaide Oval or interstate.

Yeah, I love that the WA games are being played at Perth Oval. I know that’s because they can’t fill the bigger venues, but the smaller setting puts you closer to the action.

I watched Australia v. Japan at the MCG in the lead up to 2015 world cup. The atmosphere was fun, but I couldn’t really see what was going on clearly.

I started up a Community for the World Cup. I was intending to go check out Denmark v. China last night, but I had forgotten that I was already committed to being at the Dockers v. Sydney game on the other side of the river.

We can have match posts, group discussions and hopefully raise the profile of women’s football (⚽) in Australia.
