Had these just been regularly priced Commander decks they seem like they would have been fine, but given that a lot of places are pricing them at double (or more) than the usual price these seem really bad for the money. Furthermore, the new cards just aren’t that interesting so I don’t see much of a reason to pick these up unless someone is really down bad for one of the decks and has very few of the cards
Yeah I’d consider them pretty good for the usual price, but especially with these manabases they’re disappointing for the marked up price. This deck seems pretty solid and synergistic with some sweet new cards, but the most valuable land is only a dollar!
I’ll be tempted if the Eldrazi deck is cool, but I really don’t want to support buying the decks at these prices. If they sell too well I’m worried it’ll become the new standard for precon prices.
Same, I love me some Eldrazi but kinda hoping that WotC gets stuck with a bunch of extra product so they learn their lesson on overpriced and under-value precons
Agreed, but unfortunately I expect this set to sell really well, because commander is extremely popular and the cards look cool. They’re definitely testing how far they can push the prices.
