I didn’t read their comments at all, I just noticed someone being the victim of obviously circular reasoning. This site has gotten very hive-mind ish lately, and comments like the one I replied to are a big part of why. People say the same thing about me, how I’m an obvious troll because I push back on the majority narrative. The impulse to just hand wave away anyone who disagrees with you gets heavily amplified here, for whatever reason.
You do yourself a disservice when you lend your voice without vetting the cause. I worry you’ll get lumped in with them when they see your strong defense for their bad behavior.
That’s fair, I was more annoyed with the arguments being used, because I argue in good faith for things I think are better, and get those same arguments thrown at me.
