      Depending on the country, they might not get too much trouble. I am more interested to hear how it goes trying to come back.

        I don’t think they’ll be able to leave - no airline is going to board them with fake docs.

          I guess I was thinking of driving into Mexico. They often don’t even stop you. Coming back to the U.S. with some madeup papers would not be a fun experience.

            And I spent most of my life so far in Australia so I default to needing an airline to go anywhere.

            That’s where technically being a US citizen is nice. They will let you back in, but it’s going to be a more thorough I’d process.
