Unfortunately for us, the maintainer of kbin.social is not particularly active, and has seemingly abandoned kbin.social lately. No development seems to be happening either, and weird bugs are starting to pop up here. This may be due to legitimate personal issues on his part, but regardless, it implies that no one is really maintaining this website. As a result, it may be prudent to build an alternative community at fedia.io. For now, this is temporary, but it could be permanent if kbin.social does not show improvement in oversight.

Luckily for us, everything is federated. So you can still see all posts here on the other website, and vice versa. There are also migration tools so you can keep all of your subs even if you make a move. So it should be relatively painless to move over, if it comes to that.
