Not exactly related to the post but it made me think about how I’ve been the only human character in every DnD party I’ve played in so far. Default can be pretty unique sometimes when everyone else is trying to be unique.
I play a planescape game, and being a human on the planes is basically the same as wearing an “I ❤️ New York” t shirt. You don’t look default, you look like a tourist.

To be fair, for a lot of players (me included), having them even play warriors requires quite the suspension of disbelief.
I could never be a warrior, the other day I picked up an empty plate and hurt my back.
