I was diagnosed with cancer last week, so obviously I was having an awful day. I decided to walk a few blocks to a restaurant near me. As I was walking, I was texting my friend and telling her what happened while trying not to cry. This dude is walking toward me and screams “SUPER BITCH” as we passed one another. It made an already terrible day worse and I’ve been thinking about it ever sense.

Why on Earth do men think this kind of stuff is okay? I literally cannot imagine making negative comments about another person walking down the street.

I’m sorry that happened to you. I’ve learned that almost everything about how people interact with me is about them, the day they’re having, their issues, and not about me, what I’m doing, how I look, etc.
