A police officer in responds to a call got spooked by the sound of an acorn dropping on the roof of his car and opened fire into the car. At the time there was a suspect in the car who he and his partner has already searched, cleared, and handcuffed. Luckily during the panic blind fire the suspect was not hurt. Two cops shot into a police vehicle containing an unarmed man because one of the cops heard an acorn land on the vehicle and assumed he had just been shot.
