Wife and I just watched the first episode of this season’s Amazing Race Canada. The race started in Winnipeg, and it looks like the contestants spent a grand total of 35 minutes here before spending the rest of this leg in Calgary. It was kind of cool seeing the city on TV, but I can’t help but feel like we got done dirty. They could have easily had more challenges here to show off our great city but instead we got to see Calgary’s library and some douche hipster bar.
One of the contestants is a guy I know from when he was a kid. He grew up with my brother and is a really great guy. I hope he does well, but still won’t watch that crap lol.
Calgary’s library is phenomenal though, definitely worth showcasing and something to check out when you are there.
