i’ve slept on LOTR, always felt like it’s overrated. Picked it up a few years ago, but got dengue halfway through the marathon and i dropped it entirely.

Picked it up again a few weeks ago, and blitzekrieged through, also watched Hobbit and Rings of Power. I’m eagerly waiting for season 2 of RoP.

also can’t believe the Hobbit was published in 1937… Also here’s another fun fact! Did you know that big Chungus was created in 1938, it means Adolf Htler could have seen Big Chungus lmao.

Bought Elden Ring during the summer sales. Tried it recently, at the first few hours I just confused and wandering around don’t know what to do and I just don’t get why people like the game so much. But after I try hard defeating my first 2 boss, it’s kinda getting addicting.

Now I wanted to invest some money to buy a controller, particularly the Xbox controller. Always been a KB and mouse player, do you think is worth money and time to learn it?

i used my PS4 controller to play Nioh on my PC, steam supports it. I highly recommend people to use a controller for souls-like game. completely transformed the experience.

assuming if you drop Elden Ring, there are still a lot of other souls-like game that you can use the controller for. heck you can use it for other things too like action RPG games and racing/driving games (way better than keyboard). the only thing controller is bad for is probably RPG.

Yeah… think I’m gonna go for it. But I assume you meant only thing controller is bad for is FPS?😂

yeap, terrible for FPS, and maybe fast-paced competitive games or traditional RPGs.

Harr work is so crunchy right now. Currently rushing to publish some research paper. Very exciting but it always takes way more time than you plan for (even when you know it takes longer time than you plan for)

If you sent me a message and are wondering why I ghosted

ima catch up later in the week, I swear :<

You know it’s weird, I just went to a clothing store to buy some slack pants, and was unable to find any pants my size. Not “the pants weren’t the style” or “color” or “price” or “fabric” I wanted, they were all too tall! I mean, this strikes me as pretty strange because I’m 163 cm (5’4") tall which is pretty average… am I supposed to see all these tall clothes as “aspirational” and magically grow 10 centimeters??

Most retail pants are made longer and then you adjust it to suit your size. It’s usually FOC or RM 10 only.

Usually clothing stores have an altering counter for you to bring your pants to do final adjustment after payment.

shame certain material cannot be altered. just purchased the really nice stretch work pants from Uniqlo. but it has polyester in it so they can’t alter it.
