    In Saskatchewan our corrupt government officials just buy the hotels and then rents them at double industry rates. Sask Party isn’t even hiding the corruption anymore.

    People here are too complacent to care or vote for anyone else.

    Province needs to just take the slumlord properties, tear em down and build proper housing.

      These aren’t slumlord properties, these are single room occupancy hotels that are supposed to help struggling folks transition to real housing. Unfortunately these tenants tend to be a bit more careless on average, couple that with greater tendency to light fires indoors (drug use/smoking) and you get a massive increase in fire risk.
