But literally what will happen.
There’s a wetland locally that was turned into a neighbourhood, and now all the excess water that used to be absorbed by the wetland is flowing downhill into an older neighbourhood that doesn’t have enough storm drains/drainage in general to handle the extra water, so they’re dealing with flooding. Now they’re buying sump pumps and pumping it downhill into their neighbours’ who then need to buy their own sump pumps…

Maybe we shouldn’t let Nestlé extract hundreds of millions of liters of water out of Hope BC to bottle and sell.
