Doctors say her shoulder was dislocated and her rotator cuff is severely torn, according to medical records reviewed by CBC News. Robinson says she is now waiting for surgery to fix the tear.

    When Yao Wei Wu was severely beaten by two plainclothes Vancouver Police Department officers who were responding to a domestic violence call at the wrong address, no one was charged.

    We do have to stop pretending this only happens south of the border. We need a lot more civilian oversight over Police actions, and those bodycams we’ve been waiting a quarter century for.
