…the primal need to…let foxes eat my body

That’s not a “primal need”. That’s a flatworm controlling your brain. Like Leucochloridium or Lancet Liver Fluke.

To be fair, anything you actually give a shit about is likely to be easier than university coursework. It’s about as compelling as being dragged by your balls through broken glass.

My bad, my bad, it’s about as compelling as being dragged by your balls (or alternative anatomy broadly acceptable for the purposes of the metaphor) through broken glass, unless you happen to be into that - not that there’s anything wrong with that, but to which case this metaphor doesn’t necessarily extend, being aimed at a presumed consensus that being dragged by said anatomy through broken glass would generally be found a disagreeable experience.

The logistics here dont make sense. If ur being dragged by your balls then your balls arent being dragged through said broken glass. Is there a rope around your balls draging you theough the broken glass to enflict maximal pain

This is it entirely. It’s that you’re forced to study things you’re not interested in.

I fucked off in “humanities” class because I don’t give a shit about classical paintings. I’m getting a business degree. I literally don’t care about that stuff.

Federal taxation was much easier, but it was something I could directly apply to my life and my work.
