I am not anti-union but I would never join one.

Liberals have been pushing unions hard and membership is declining.

    I can give a whole rant on unions but I am not opposed to the concept. Most of my family was UAW members. It did jack shit for them. With the passing of NAFTA, one by one their jobs were moved to Canada or Mexico. The union did nothing.

    When I watched the most recent contract negotiations, once again the union claimed victory, but didn’t accomplish much.

    In my field, I see no reason to join a union and if I saw a reason, I doubt a union would do much. Unions seem more focused on making money for themselves and not the workers.

      There’s nothing wrong with the concept of unions. It’s a fundamental result of free association. The problem is that unions got in bed with the government, and now exist based on anything but free association, and are just a corrupt mess

        Not only the government but they seem to get in bed with the companies.
