Let’s face it, Markstrom sucked last season. If he sucks again, it matters little how well Huberdeau, Kadri, and others rebound or how well the new kids do, their chances of making the playoffs become slim. Wolf could be great, or he could be a bust, or he could be somewhere in between. They need to play him to find out.
