The NFL community on lemmy.ml has a head start so I’d recommend everyone subscribe there and let this one die.

Yes,please consolidate.always consolidate.i am so sick of new communities constantly popping up in my feed after I’ve blocked identical ones from other instances.
Last I saw about 20 minutes ago Lemmy’s has like 10 followers and ours has like 40
FYI apparently when we browse lemmy.ml from this instance it’s not fully up to date on the subscribers or anything. So [email protected] actually has like 250 subscribers rn even though it shows up as 21 subscribers on my browser. If you check on browse.feddit.de it gives a more accurate number.

Yeah by my count [email protected] is 3 times bigger than [email protected]. But it’s also not a matter of life and death, people can subscribe to both or neither, whatever they want. We just have to make sure people are aware of all the communities, and they will decide which ones are enjoyable and which ones are lame. Just gotta let the community form organically.
You’re right. Whichever community is better will win. Maybe that’s us.
