Hi there.

I have always loved looking at cable porn. It’s always made me question with all of the zip ties, and bundling, how do you deal with changes?

In the audio engineering world, we don’t bundle cables like that because changes happen all the time.

I always thought it was beautiful but it looked really impractical. Is my assumption wrong?

Appreciate y’all making the group!

Never use zip ties when done with the installation. You put velcro and then remove the zip ties. It’s not hard to cut the head off a bad cable and pull it through the harness in many cases. Then just run a new cable and add it to the bundle one velcro at a time.

I’d like to know too. At home my desk is a cable mess because every time I try cable management, 3m falls apart or I have to change out cables or equipment, or general setup. I’m never ambitious enough to try again.
