Capcom’s expectations for Monster Hunter Now, a company official revealed that the publisher primarily anticipates the game to boost the series’ global brand instead of generate “revenue contributions.”
Interesting. I’m really surprised they would publicly say that they don’t expect it to make money. But then again, maybe it’s ultimately for helping MH6 sell eventually.
I’m not a hopeful man, but I do have an expectation that Capcom has a bit more pride in their products than gamefreak/pokemon co. So hearing that they want this to be a marketing tool for the brand writ large and likely the hype leader for MH6 gives it some small chance it will be worth playing, at least until it’s served its purpose and goes downhill.
Could possibly mean good things? If they expect it to be a marketing tool to enhance the brand, that should mean a better user/player experience, one would think.
so it won’t have micro transactions, right? 😅
