Genuinely asking this: is there a reason the instance even needs it? If i want to see what’s on Reddit, I’ll go to Reddit. I feel like most of us didn’t come to the fediverse just so we could see automatic reposts from Reddit.
Filter the community and it’s a ghost town because nobody wants to repost these rebates on their own, and we certainly don’t have the volume for the community to be self-sustaining at the moment.
If i want to see what’s on Reddit, I’ll go to Reddit
Normally I would agree, but in this case there’s very little discussion or interaction with the content. I just want to see what the deals are, and I’d rather do it here than have to visit Reddit.
