Hello c/deathmetal, I was wondering what some of your favorite releases are this year! I’ve personally been addicted to the new Diabolical Messiah (ffo: Angelcorpse) and Ascended Dead (ffo: Necrovore) albums. Very, very biased towards anything in the style of bands like Necrovore, Morbid Angel, Sadistic Intent, etc. so I’d love to also get some recs if anyone’s been listening to stuff like that 😜

Lunar Chamber - Shambhallic VibrationsIf you aren’t already familiar with them, check out Beyond from Germany. They definitely have a similar sound to Ascended Dead. Their guitarist went on to form Omegavortex after Beyond broke up. I’d recommend checking Omegavortex out too, although they lean a little more towards chaotic black metal than Beyond.
