Anyone have an idea why #17 Tommy Paul would have to go through qualifying in London? Looking at the rankings, he’d not only be eligible for direct entry, he’d be the #6 seed. Is the LiveTennis app drunk?

It mihht be that he was a late entry. Often you’ll see players that are ranked high enough to get in the main draw get wildcards because they enter after the draw is already out. I’m guessing the same can happen with qualifiers.
