What album puts a chill in your spine? What gives you fearful butterflies in your stomach upon each listen? When was it recorded? I find a lot of early electronic music to fit that uncanny region for me, but that may be everybody.

    CALIGULA by Lingua Ignota can be pretty disturbing, it was written as a way to process the trauma of their experiences with sexual assault.

    Casualties of Cool by Devin Townsend can be kind of uncanny. Its supposed to be a concept album that sounds like a “haunted johnny cash album” the songs are good but a lot of the sound effects and such are really creepy

      For the first time, I kinda regret having Spotify. I only listened to some of that… That’s just too much raw pain for 7:48 on a Wednesday morning. I hope they’re ok!
