Reddit and its communities are preparing for a life after the platform’s API changes forced popular third-party apps to shut down.
Relay for Reddit was my preferred app as well. Still have it installed, just used it to check something. Won’t be subscribing though. I’d rather pay a membership for a co-op instance or donations to a non-profit organized instance.
Mastodon has been great, and now Lemmy is great. Reddit (and Twitter, and Facebook, et al) can all whither away as far as I’m concerned.
