Victorians are being asked to fill out the state government’s pet census — the first of its kind in Australia.
Minister for Agriculture Gayle Tierney says she wants to see responses from owners of all sorts of animals.
The minister joins Ali Moore on ABC Radio Melbourne Mornings to explain how the data will be used.
As long as they get data on cat owners in wildlife zones who let their cat outside.
And allocate animal control officers as appropriate.
