Mainly ambient. We use software one of our crew developed based in Pure Data. Always keen to find new people to jam with so let me know if interested in joining us.
It operates pretty much like a DAW but with a primitive geeky UI.
You don’t need to understand PD unless you want to “get under the hood” to modify instruments/fx or create your own.
Color me curious, I’ve been craving a jam session.
I just installed Pure Data… and after I finish rambling; I’ll get netpd set up. I’m pretty stoked, this is unexpected & seems fantastic. Right now, I’m listening to some of these groovy jams you have over on Soundcloud.
Anyway, I’m pretty old school… as in I still occasionally call FL Studio “Fruity Loops”. Yeah. So if you have room for a respectful maniac who has mostly worked solo for the past couple o’ decades, I’d love to join in sometime. I play well with others and don’t bite, no worries. I was a humble bassist before all of this, so I know when to follow.
