We’re a 12-owner league split into 6 “rivalries” that play twice per year.

Husbands and wives trying to be the one claiming glory for their household, lifelong friendships at risk of being ruined forever, it’s a lot of fun. And especially because the final week of regular season is, you guessed it, rivalry week.

We have two teams vying for the final playoff spot this week. One of them is brand new to the league this year, invited by his childhood friend who now is gleefully looking forward to the chance to break his heart in his first year. Adding to the drama is that earlier in the season our playoff hopeful traded away Rachaad White to his rival…for Rhamondre Stevenson. Ouch.

The other relevant matchup this week is between two work colleagues, the one in with a playoff chance being the boss of the other. The underling has had an absolutely trash season that was over before it started, but one of his only victories was against his boss in the first rivalry week and he seems determined to repeat that win. Now, can you guess who has his annual performance review coming up at work on Monday?

This weekend should be a good one! She says, from her high and mighty guaranteed spot in playoffs.

In the Lemmy World league, we have 8 teams with 4 making the playoffs.

@[email protected] has clinched the 1 seed but we have 4 teams tied at 7-6 for the other 3 spots.

Myself and @[email protected] are both 7-6 and we play each other, matched up in a “win and you’re in” game; the loser isn’t out but will need some help.

@[email protected] another 7-6 team, is playing one of the eliminated teams. And @[email protected] unfortunately has to play the top seed MooDib to get in. He does have the most points scored in the league so he should be the first 7-7 team that makes it if it comes to that!

In my family league, I’m 6-7. I play the one seed and need to win plus have the two teams in front of me lose.

Somewhat luckily, the one seed just lost Stevenson and looked for a second like Henry would be questionable with a concussion but he seems to be playing. It’s a long shot, just couldn’t stay healthy and Ekeler took the last 3 weeks off and I ended up going 0-3.
