How about Steam Deck? But a non-shitty client please? Never mind, there is no way they would make a non-shitty client.
While I’d like to see this shit canned, as another reply worded it, I would not take Phil at his word on this.
Plenty of times in the past companies have made denials when plans have leaked out, then just go ahead and do exactly what they denied (policy change, product launch, etc.).
We’ll see what eventually happens.
So Phil’s lying through his teeth yet again?
Wanting something != having plans for it.
This is the best summary I could come up with:
"I appreciate the mention of the Xbox app, and the work Ashley McKissick and the team put together with the launch with compact mode, to make it more usable on those devices.
On the topic of product entitlement, I asked Phil Spencer for an update on the Xbox Family Plan, which briefly launched in a test period in Ireland and Colombia, but had since vanished.
I reminded Phil Spencer about some of the previous teases we heard during the press tours and regulatory comments, mentions of things like Guitar Hero, Skylanders, StarCraft, and other classic Activision-Blizzard franchises that have become dormant.
And why is Xbox able to revive some of these more “niche” games like Age of Empires, Killer Instinct, and potentially StarCraft while Activision-Blizzard seemed unwilling to do so?
I asked how Microsoft would go about meeting fan’s desires for the back catalogues, while also keeping the teams at Activision, Bethesda, or Blizzard working on things they’re potentially presently passionate about.
This interview began as a request for comment for Microsoft Gaming CFO Tim Stuart’s recent statements about the future of Xbox.

Good. Keep that shit contained.
Game pass is legitimately great. I’ve played loads of games I wouldn’t have otherwise bothered with thanks to it.
